Twist is proposed as a redesign of an iconic object of Italian design, the bookcase Joy by Castiglioni, actualizing forms and materials used. The materials used are freely inspired by those now in vogue for big brands, making a simple ladder a modern and refined forniture object. As well as the bookcase from which it takes cue, Twist is designed in such a way by, once fulfilled the primary function of the ladder, emphasize the freedom of use by the user.

Furthermore, the possibility of customize the color of the steps choosing from a wide range of colors allows Twist to adapt to any interior.

I have also created a full functionally 1:10 scale model in my workshop, using the same materials and superficial finishes of the project.
